Best Viewing Spots for the Aomori Nebuta Festival Parade

Reserved seats along the parade route
The most comfortable option is a reserved seat directly on the parade route. Seats are numbered, guaranteed and give a clear view of the giant floats passing right in front of you.
Free viewing areas
Free standing space is available along most of the route, but you should arrive 2–3 hours before the 19:10 start on peak nights (August 5–6). Sidewalks near intersections offer the best angles.
The final day: float cruise and fireworks
On August 7, award-winning floats are loaded onto boats and paraded across Aomori Bay while about 11,000 fireworks light up the sky. Reserved bay-side seats are the most popular tickets of the entire festival.
